On the afternoon of March 6, the press conference of the 2nd China (Hezhou) Stone and Calcium Carbonate Industrial Exhibition was held at Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center Hotel, co-sponsored by the Hezhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Hezhou Municipal People's Government. Huang Zhimin said that as the eastern gate of Guangxi and the most convenient channel for Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, Hezhou has unique location advantages and is gradually integrating into the Pearl River Delta 1-hour economic circle in recent years. Natural resources are abundant, especially the largest white marble deposits in central and southern China. The prospective reserves of calcium carbonate are 2.6 billion cubic meters, and the technical indicators reach the national level of super-grade minerals. At the same time, Hezhou has excellent policy conditions, and has been rated as "the best investment city for Zhejiang businessmen (outside provinces) and"the best investment city for Guangdong businessmen in China".
After the press conference, eight investment projects were signed on the spot, with a total investment of 1.186 billion yuan. The project involves the upstream and downstream industries of calcium carbonate, such as plastics, new materials and PET renewable resources. The total investment contracted by Hualong Group with Hezhou City Government is over 330 million yuan.
